About the Project
Music has always been liberating for Jean Carllos. But playing tied to cables and risking connection failures mid-show was never an option. Years of testing, trial and error led to a fully autonomous setup: no batteries, no cables, 100% wireless — the exact rig Jean uses live with Oficina G3.
What this setup solves:
- Eliminates all the cables holding you back
- Connection failures from broken cables or accidents with them
- Total freedom for your performance

Why use wireless MIDI?
The problem
Music has always been liberating. So how can I play limited? To have the stage as a universe to explore, I needed the freedom to move without anything holding me back. I also needed the certainty that mid-performance I would not break a cable or an essential connection — and lose everything at the most critical moment of the show.
The solution
With a fully autonomous wireless MIDI system, you and your Controller by Jean Carllos are free to go anywhere on stage. No cables, no physical limits. The stage is your home and your performance is YOUR ONLY LIMIT!
Choose your wireless MIDI system
CME WIDI Master
For churches and smaller venuesA Bluetooth 5 MIDI adapter that replaces the physical cable. Automatically connects to the Uhost transmitter (inside the controller) as soon as both are powered on. Range of up to 20 meters — enough for most churches and smaller event stages. Bus-powered from the instrument — no batteries needed.
- Protocol: Bluetooth 5 — stable and ultra-low latency
- Range: up to 20 meters
- Auto-connects on power-up — no manual setup
- Bus-powered from the instrument — no batteries needed
Best for: Smaller churches and compact event stages
Panda Audio midiBeam v2
For large stagesThe midiBeam v2 turns any 5-pin MIDI controller into a wireless keyboard, using a compact transmitter on the controller and a receiver connected to the device you want to control (your module, computer, synth, etc).
- Frequency: 2.4 GHz with automatic switching between 76 channels
- Range: over 250 meters in open space (400 ft) — enough for any stage (large festivals and arenas)
- Latency: ~0.38 ms — virtually imperceptible while playing
- Receiver also works as a MIDI-USB interface — connect directly to the computer without special drivers
Best for: Large churches, festivals and arenas
